How To Get Started Fishing Grates At The California Aqueduct

An angler can never predict the outcome of a fishing trip.  He can only persevere. Fifty Thousand years ago, before the evolution of modern day society, we didn’t have all the luxuries we do today.  We had to hunt for our own food, avoid being eaten by Mr. Sabretooth tiger and had to track game over long distances and bring the kill home.  Life was hard. So hard in fact, that through this thing called evolution, we developed something internal.  Something biologically engraved in who we are to overcome these hardships. It’s our…Read more …

How To Catch Panfish At The California Aqueduct

My father was an avid outdoorsman.  He loved hunting and fishing.  He’s the reason why I’m so passionate about fishing today.  My fondest memories of him are our fishing moments together.  Of all the father son moments, why did I remember these the most?  It's because fishing brings a human connection we remember for the rest of our life. FA MAG 2015

Wow!  I am so proud to be part of this great community.  The first ever FishAholics Meet And Greet (FA MAG) was a great success.  We had a great turnout.  It was held at the Oniel Forebay near Los Banos, CA.   The early bird mini meet had a great turn out as well. It was held for the anglers that wanted to fish the morning bite. FishAholics filled the entry way from the pay station all the way pass the curve.  The park opened at 6am and we had members waiting in line at…Read more …
